Call for Speakers

Are you a Bitcoin developer, technologist, designer, or builder with something to share? Apply to speak at Btrust Developer Day 2025.

Apply to Speak Now

Btrust Developer Day features five core session formats. Choose the one that best fits your style and experience. We’re looking for:

speaker

01

Open Source Contribution Workshops

Lead a hands-on coding or design session | 45–60 minutes (focused on a specific Bitcoin stack or language).

02

Technical Talks

Present a concise, high-signal talk on an exciting Bitcoin innovation or tool | 15–20 min lightning talk + 5 min reflection on local relevance (how this innovation could matter in the African context or how developers here can contribute).

03

Expert Panel

Join a curated discussion on topics shaping Bitcoin and open-source work in Africa and globally | 30–40 minutes

04

Live Product Demos / Showcases

Walk us through the real story of your Bitcoin product, protocol, or tool (your architecture), stack choices, pain points, workarounds, and what's next | 10–15 min project walkthrough + Q&A

05

Developer Connect (non-stage)

Share your project, repo, or open-source work at a casual, interactive booth (no stage required). Attendees can explore and engage with your work directly.

Selection Criteria

Talks and workshops will be rated as Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced in the program, so don’t worry if your idea isn’t super “deep”, we want a healthy mix to support developers at all levels. Speakers will be selected based on:

01

Technical depth or hands-on learning value.

02

Clarity of topic and relevance to Bitcoin or Lightning dev.

03

Diversity of experience and background.

04

Contribution to African or Global South perspectives.

05

Openness to sharing code, insight, and real takeaways.
